While more than 400 people (100 families) were displaced due to armed encounter of AFP and alleged New Peoples Army (NPA) in Surigao del Sur. More than 7,600 people (1500 families) were displaced in April 2022 due to heavy rains and flooding in Agusan del Sur.

More than 2,200 (460 families) were displaced from previous conflicts (clan feud and AFP against not state actors) in several municipalities since 2019.
